This guide provides essential insights into establishing Safe School Zones (SSZs), offering clear regulations, practical infrastructure solutions, and community-driven approaches to protect children on their daily journeys. A key focus is on enforcing the 30 km/h speed limit around school zones and built-up areas, a proven strategy to reduce accidents and save lives. Stakeholders—including policymakers, educators, urban planners, and road users—must engage with this guide to contribute to safer roads.
