The Road Safety Week – 2025
As Uganda enters the high-risk festive travel season, the Ministry of Works and Transport has launched Road Safety Week 2025 under the theme “Safe Vehicles for a Safer Uganda.” Officially unveiled on 18 December at the Namanve Motor Vehicle Inspection Centre, the nationwide campaign brings together government, civil society, and partners, including ROSACU and the Global Health Advocacy Incubator (GHAI)—to promote vehicle roadworthiness and responsible road use, with the aim of reducing road crashes.
